✈️ Vacation Life Terms & Conditions

The Important Stuff You Actually Want to Read (Yes, Really!)

Before we start planning your epic getaway—whether it’s a cruise, European escape, bachelorette bash, or once-in-a-lifetime celebration—we just need to make sure we’re all on the same page. So grab your favorite drink, skim the fine print, and let’s make travel magic (legally) happen.

By booking with Vacation Life and making payment, you’re confirming that you’ve reviewed, accepted, and are totally on board with the terms below. These terms apply to you and anyone you’re booking or paying for, so feel free to share the fine print with your travel crew.

💼 What We Do (and Don’t Do)

At Vacation Life, we connect you with amazing travel experiences—but we don’t operate the cruises, airlines, hotels, or tours ourselves. We act as a trusted agent between you and some of the best travel suppliers out there.

That means while we help coordinate the dream, the actual services—like your flights, resort stays, shore excursions, etc.—are carried out by independent vendors. If they experience delays, make changes, or if something unexpected happens (weather, cancellations, missed connections), those issues fall under their control, not ours. We always do our best to help you navigate the bumps, but we’re not liable for things beyond our reach.

🌪️ Life Happens (AKA: Force Majeure)

Things like hurricanes, wildfires, strikes, global events, or random acts of chaos can affect your travel plans. If a force majeure event (aka something no one could’ve seen coming) affects your trip, neither we nor your travel suppliers can be held responsible for delays, cancellations, or changes beyond our control. We’ll be here to help—but no one can outplan Mother Nature.

💬 Direct Contact, No Robots

We’re a real, human-led travel company—and we work hard to keep up with our high volume of dreamers and doers. Please allow up to 5 business days for responses during peak travel seasons. Need help fast? Call or text 616-334-9353—we’ll do our best to get back to you ASAP. Life happens on our end too—emergencies, sick days, and that elusive thing called “a day off”—so we appreciate your patience and kindness.

📅 Pricing, Payments & Policy Fun

Travel pricing changes constantly and may not be guaranteed until your payment is received. While we do everything we can to lock in the best rates, we’re not responsible for supplier errors, last-minute price changes, or typos from third-party vendors.

Some travel deals come with non-refundable deposits (hello, hot deals!)—so once you book, be sure you’re 100% in. If you cancel, you’ll be charged a $50 per person Vacation Life cancellation fee in addition to any supplier fees. This fee must be paid via secure checkout (TravelJoy, PayPal, or Venmo) before cancellation is processed.

Final payment due dates will always be listed in your booking documents—mark your calendar! We'll send reminders, but ultimately it’s up to you to stay on top of your payment schedule.

🧳 Names, Dates & Passport Details

Once you book, it’s time to double-check everything. That means spelling of names, birthdates, destinations, flight times, and passport info. If your documents don’t match your reservation exactly, it can lead to major issues—and we can’t be held responsible for that.

Some travel suppliers charge change fees, and international travel has even more rules (like passports valid 6+ months past your return date). We may ask you to securely upload your passport to verify accuracy—just a quick step to avoid last-minute panic.

⚖️ Legal Things You Should Know

By working with Vacation Life, you agree that any disputes will be handled in the jurisdiction of our home base. You also give us permission to act on your behalf when booking travel services, including processing payments for trips you've approved via email, text, phone, or online.

You’ll find that some suppliers (especially cruise lines) have their own terms and cancellation policies, and in most cases, those will override ours. You agree to those supplier policies when booking.

🛡️ Travel Insurance = Total Peace of Mind

We highly recommend travel insurance—especially for those “what if” moments. Illness, cancellations, lost luggage, medical emergencies… it’s all covered if you’re insured. If you decline insurance, you’re agreeing to take on full responsibility for any out-of-pocket expenses or penalties.

If you do purchase insurance, review the policy documents so you understand exactly what’s covered and how to file a claim. Due to privacy laws, insurance companies may not discuss claims with us—so it’s important to communicate with them directly.

🧠 Final Thoughts

We’re here to help you travel smarter and better. Booking direct with Vacation Life means you’re not just another reservation number—you’re part of our travel family. And while we do everything in our power to make your experience seamless, travel is full of moving parts. The more you know, the more confident and excited you’ll be to hit the road (or the sea!).

Let’s make unforgettable happen.
